Upper Zakum(UZ)
Upper Zakum (UZ )

It is the most important of ZADCO's fields. Located 84 Kms. north west of Abu Dhabi Islands , UZ field covers around 1,200 sq Kms of the Gulf marine areas. Zakum field is the second largest field in the Gulf and the fourth largest field in the World.

Accommodation platform of UZ field has the capacity to accommodate 550 personnel, making it one of the largest offshore living structures in the world.










Umm Al-Dalkh (UA)

Located 25 Kms. north west of Abu Dhabi. UA field was discovered in 1969 and started production in 1985. Oil is pumped to Zirku Island via Upper Zakum Central Complex, through 42” pipeline.














Satah (ST)
Satah (ST)

ST field is located 200 Kms. north west of Abu Dhabi. It was discovered in 1975 and started production in July 1987. Its oil is processed at the plant on Zirku Island.

Zirku Island


Zirku Island is located 140 Kms. north west of Abu Dhabi. With its advanced oil and gas installations, Zirku is considered the main industrial base for the processing, storage and export of oil from Upper Zakum, Umm Al-Dalkh and Satah Fields. Zirku is a pear shaped Island with a line of rocky hills; It is planted with palm trees and mangroves that attract annual visits of migratory birds. There are also modern living facilities to host more than 1000 personnel. Arzanah Island

In 1994, ADNOC decided to assign the operations of Arzanah Island to ZADCO. Arzanah Island is located 180 Kms. north west of Abu Dhabi. It is the base for Satah field operations and accommodates around a 100 personnel.
